Of all my many attributes, perhaps my greatest gift to share with the world is my unique gift of being able to piss people off. I like to play to my strengths. So here I go! Out in Karendom, the twitless twits are twittering their twaddle. RBG the legal giant, how much she did for women, blah, blah, zzz, snore. Sneering sophists sitting on their high pulpits twisting and distorting the law are mendacious elitists who should not be praised. So here goes my best Mark Antony eulogy: she may have done some good, but……..
In the world contemplated by our Founders, when a Supreme Court justice died, there would be no political commentary. The jurist would be remembered for their honesty, intellect, sober reflection and most of all for being a servant of the law. Indeed, who replaced such jurist would not be a political issue at all.
Unfortunately, RBG was not honest, did not have a superior intellect, certainly did not exercise sober judgment and her worst crime was being a master of the law instead of its servant. And herein lies the lesson for today……
The Democratic party lusts for power. The core center of leftist ideology is “the ends justify the means.” A clean and short summation: “we want power and we will do anything to get it.” RBG and other liberal justices decide the outcome of a case before they consider the law. They then fabricate a reason why the law fits their desired, lust for power outcome. This is dishonest and intellectually vacuous. If one truly believes that the Supreme Court is a body of nine King Solomons, then why have a legislative and executive branch? Every time this is done, it is a sledgehammer blow to the foundation of our republic. It is judicial narcissism on steroids.
I had a long talk with the President last night. He wants me to succeed her, but I told him to choose a woman, preferably a good looking one. I gave him my pick, let’s see if he heeds my advice.
If this post pissed you off and your feelings are hurt, I would just like to say ….thank you for the compliment.
