To my friends who are at the Masters this weekend. You MUST make the pilgrimage to the James Brown Museum in downtown Augusta. Remember the story in the bible when the lady touched Jesus’ cloak and was healed? Something similar happened to me at the JB Museum. You see, I was suffering from a bad case of Over-Honkeyization. My elocution was very rigid, I enuciated every syllable, but much worse, my dance moves were very Al Gore like. People would laugh at me and call me “Elaine” from Seinfeld. But then, I touched HIS cloak and instantly I was smoother than a jar of Skippy. Now I teach classes on how to do the Bad Luck, the Tighten Up and the Camel Walk. Thanks Be to James. Alleluia!
