The Progressive Left’s motives are what they always are. Create a crisis that can only be solved by ceding us our liberties and our property. Every crisis is always wrapped in moral authority and the mantra “we are doing this for your own good.” We are on a holy mission to “save lives,” “save the planet,” “protect the children,” “end racism,” blah, blah, blah. If you call them out on their deceit and false facts, you “want to see children die,” you “are a racist,” and “you a greedy capitalist ” who doesn’t care about Mother Earth.

Look at the power they now have. They have seized our property and stripped us of our liberties. Think of the long lingering effects of this power grab. We have governors telling us that our businesses and our livelihoods are non-essential. In opening their states back up, they are pronouncing edicts on how everyone should run their business. It is easy to see where this will soon lead. Here are a few examples:

All restaurants shall only serve the type of food that we approve.

All retail businesses must have portraits of Che Guevara on the wall, after all, he was a Dr.

Before being allowed to leave your house, you must take an online Re-education course!

The precedent established by this phony crisis gives them power to do anything, as long as they can make the claim that their edicts are for our own good. It does not matter how stupid or ridiculous these claims are. Now that people can be arrested for merely being outside, the tyrants are emboldened because their police state is keeping us under its thumb.

I think it is time to tar and feather these tin pot tyrants……..
