Despite their $74 sandwiches, eating out on the patio at Taste is always a pleasant experience. However, today, directly in my line of sight, was a “lady,” she looked a bit like Lovey Howell, with atrocious table
manners. So astonished, I couldn’t help put stare at her eating with her mouth wide open. It diminished my dining experience. Luckily, I had a pen one me, so I wrote her a ticket, and presented it to her in my best “officer of the court” voice. Decorum and the conventions of civilization demanded that I act as I did, and fortuitiously, I got a free tank of gas out of the encounter.
