Meet Dr. Athia N. Choudhury! She is the Postdoctoral Associate in Asian American and Diaspora Studies at Duke University. She is one of the guest lectures at an upcoming event at the University of Richmond called Unapologetically Fat: A Body Positivity Panel Discussion with Women of Color. This is part of UR’s Pleasurefest, a week long event about sex positivity. What UR calls “Sex Positivity”, we call Violence against Women since they endorse BDSM. This is just another example of how the train has gone off the rails at the University of Richmond. This is what $81,000 a year in tuition pays for at the University of Richmond.

Dr. Athia N. Choudhury pushes anti-scientific conspiracy theories about caloric intake and nutrition. She blames societal standards on health and fitness on capitalism, colonialism, imperialism, and white supremacy. This is not a serious person and we hope she can come to grips with her own lack of personal responsibility and move past all of this. However, until then, it is our job to expose how students are being exposed to these ideas.
